Arkansas Seclusion

Rain has been falling off and on for the past few days here at my cave. I need an infusion of Arkansas Ozark Mountain air; the kind I find in the Boxley Valley. I spend these days going over the latest photographs and researching about the "Wild Thangs" I had the opportunity to see and photograph.
I feel sorry for people that have never experienced nature and the ones that do not care to. The gifts are abundant and I leave a bundle of stress when I leave the wild woods. Some see my time with nature as a "Backward Way of Life or Hickey" I find it quite rewarding to be in solitude with my own thoughts and cameras. I have found that four legged creatures have more ethics and morals than two legged ones and sounds of the wild is beautiful music.

Snow in East Texas

Chrismas evening snow started to fall here in East Texas. With a full belly of dressing I was trying out my new chair when I heard someone say "Snow", I looked out and big flakes were falling. This ment that the following day I would be photographing somewhere.
The following day I went to Sonny and Kelly's and found beautiful photographs.
