Christmas Day

Today I have spent here in my cave watching the birds on Christmas day, first Christmas in thirty years with no Santa, family or humans around. Just wife and two pups and the birds outside my cave window. I treated the birds to fresh fruit for the special day, they have enjoyed it along with the suet and sunflower seeds. The day has been different but I have enjoyed the company.

Outside the temperature has remained at the 38 degree mark and very cloudy. I would like to be on the Cossatot River today looking for the eagles and good photo op's.
