I went to the Little River trying to find new Bald Eagles, however as usual I found something different. The river is loaded with Canadian Geese. I watched and photographed them as they fed and rested. A day with any kind of critter is a great day for me. These geese are not uncommon in this area, however, they are great birds to watch and listen to their music.
It was a rainy cold day, just perfect to view these birds on the river. We then looked at the Eagle nest located near Ogden. The pair of eagles were not present this morning but later in the day we photographed them at the roost /nest..It appears that the female is nesting and if so in about thirty-eight days there will be more Arkansas eagles to view.
